See this video.....
I had first come across RAGE about 4/5 months ago, when carmack was demoing the id Tech 5 Engine for the first time, i remember how simple it was to create custom maps, and these maps were ginormous!! Well as u can see, the maps are huge and fully rendered, with crisp HD textures, and amazing facial expressions, and of course, no one can doubt about the car physics, right!?
Cant wait for more more news about this game, and the other id baby, DOOM.....yay!! xD
We'll be seeing much more of these in the coming months....... :)

My forray into the "gaming" scene....

I remember as if it happened just today...thats how fresh it is....
The first time i ever become a serious gamer was about 5 years ago...when i fired up
the computer in a gaming cafe near my college "Virtual Game Space"...i think it was...it closed now though..anyways..
The first game i played as a "certified gamer" was Need for Speed Underground.
I remember i played the game for like 2 hours and feeling as if i and just started the game...Einstein's relativity theroy..i guess...but yaa i felt the gush of every tire screech and every rev of the engine...and the soundtrack adbolutely blew me away...it was so damn loud..just my kind of music...
I played that game for like 3 days and realized that NFS Underground 2 was just installed on that computer...i have no shame in declaring that it is my favourte game of all time...completing it a record 15 times...my highest for any kind of game...
I played over at the cafe for like 2 years...spend thousands of buck on gaming and thoroughly enjoying every bit of it...
I still remember that 4 years ago on my birthday, i lied to my parents that i had gone out with my friends and i lied to my friends that i had gone with my parents...
i enjoyed my most on that day...sitting for -my personal record for a cafe- 6 hrs stright...
Then when 3 years ago was the birth of my gaming ADDICTION...i had bought a brand new HP Pavillion a1210in computer... and the first game i installed?? Well NFS UG2 of course...
Then since i had my own computer i moved on to FPS, RacingSim, RTS and every type of gaming genre available...i now confess that i am a hard effing core FPS fan...
Call of Duty...the absolute pinnacle of FPS...
along the way i played many FPS's...these included stellar games like Half Life, Doom, Quake, Call of Duty, Far Cry, Unreal Tournament ..etc etc....
So here i am sitting on my PC.....which is still 3 years old with only a 512 MB RAM upgrade..so havent been able to play games like GoW, COD4, CrySis, UT3 etc
So now am gonna play Prince of Persia Warrior Within (i know i know...a little late..but whatever)....
I must admit...i never felt like quit playing games...i felt a rush....a felling i had never experienced before...It is the only mode of entertainment a always enjoy...
So here's to gaming...man's greatest ever invention after the computers :D ....
